Printing thickener for disperse & acrylic dyes on polyester & acrylic fabrics.

Introduction:
This is Tamarind based Gum developed for printing of polyster & Blended  Fabrics. It is highly modified Tamarind based Gum. It is developed for Disperse dye  printing on Rotary, Flat-Bed and Roller type Machines.  

Physico Chemical Properties

Appearance : Free flowing powder
Colour: Off White Powder
PH : 8.0 to 8.5
% of Mosture at Packing : 8 to 10% ( Maximum )
% Concentration : 10 to 12%
Viscosity: 60000 CPS in 6% SOLN after cooking of 2 hours.
Ash Content : 3 to 4%
Residue content : Less than 1.00 % in 200 mesh bolting cloth.

Method of Testing
PH : It is measured in 1% soln after stirring for 15 minutes.
Viscosity : In a 500 ml water add 40 gms powder with stirring for 30 minutes. Keep it for 15 minutes then cool down to 30C & measure viscosoty of that paste. ( RV type Viscometer with spindle No. 4 at 2.5 RPM )
Residue content : Take 20 gms of Gum and dissolve into 500 ml & keep for one hour. Filter the above solultion with 200 mesh filter using aspilator or vaccum suction. Wash the filter surface with distilled-water under suction ( wall of filter also to be washed ) Then, dry the filter 50-60 C.
